We are staying there for the first time later this week, so tell me the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The good- close to DTD- doesnt take long to get to Epcot or MGM from there....
The bad- the buses are sometimes crowded - and since there are so many stops within the resort - getting a seat is sometimes a hassle- and its been one of the longest waits I have ever had when closing a park for EMH- but I guess thats if there at capacity
The ugly....dont have any- other than I really dont like having to get in a car to go to the food court area...
Have stayed in three differnt buildings and found something positive about them all there.
I hope you have a wonderful trip....call me if you want any more deets.

Thanks, Peg!
We will have a rental car -- so we likely won't use D transportation at all. But good to know about the waits & such.
Looking forward to checking out another new resort!

I have been fortunate enough to have stayed there twice, once in a Studio and the other time in a One-Bedroom Villa. Here is my opinion:
Good - Proximity to Downtown Disney, Love the rooms, Love the theme of the resort, the Spa, Turf Club is a great restaurant, main pool area is nice and big, Artist Palette is decent for quick-service.
Bad - Huge resort, rental care is almost a must (depending on how much walking you can take). No real negatives, have had nothing but positive experiences here.

It is our "home" resort, but we've only stayed there once. We use Disney Transportation and were in the "Paddock" area. We loved it! Yes, it is big and spread out. Since you have a car, it doesn't really matter what section you'll be in.
My DD requested going back there next summer. She's 8 and tells me it's her favorite. The main pool area is big, zero entry and has fun slides. It truly is a beautiful resort. Enjoy and report back when you return!

Thanks, Don. If I am ever in *that* Saratoga Springs area, I will be sure to reference back.
We are home, and we had a great time! We received a complimentary upgrade from a studio to a 1 BR villa, and we were in the Paddocks area.
It is a VERY pretty resort, and it is soooooooooooooooo completely quiet & peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.
