Kelley and I are planning to do this as well. I've read on other boards that many people do dress up and the booty collecting is a lot of fun. We are planning on doing some dressing up - but nothing too outlandish. I've read that some women actually go the entire princess costume route!

My brother and his family are going on March 6th.
I wish I could go but we are going in November.

I bought advance tickets for like $38.95. I think they are more, closer to $50 regularly.

Kelley and I have been really discussing our costumes for this - she's really getting into it and it's making our planning even more fun. I'm really excited and can't wait to do this.

Kelley is planning on wearing her Prom dress to this party. Molly is hemming it up so that she can still walk, she got sparkly silver sequined sneakers, a tiara and a wand tonight. I'm a little frightened!

Since it ended up raining, my pirate outfit stayed at the VWL. (I already did wet pirate once at MNSSHP and wasn't anxious to do that again).

Got there late, so just hung out on Main St. to wait for the parade, which I enjoyed. However, the plastic bag I was sitting on did not do the trick and my butt was SOAKED when I got up. It was also cold, so I scoured Main St. looking for some sweatpants or something and there was nothing I would ever wear again. Walked down to Pirates - nothing there either - got a plastic beaded necklace at a treasure stop - then watched the fireworks, which were some of my favorite ever.

Then, still wet and cold, just wandered the Main St. shops a bit and then headed out.

I think it would have been alot more fun had the weather cooperated. The crowds were very light.

Was anyone besides the CM's dressed up - Kelley has this whole princess thing going and I have a costume that kind of makes me look like Mr. Smee that I am thinking about wearing. Actually, my dd's think I should come up with a wench costume, which might be more fun.

Yes, but not as many as I think would be - I'm sure there were quite a few like myself that did not dress up due to the weather.

I got my tickets for April 23rd. I'm so ready! Does anyone know if the special AP area for the fireworks with it?

Tickets went up from what I understand, they were $46.81 each with $3.00 shipping. I don't have an AP yet, that will come next month. Just excited to get those tickets finally.
