My Magic Bands+ FP experience.

Here are my thoughts on the Magic Bands with FP+...
1. I feel that the bands increased the wait time on typically "less popular" attractions. For example, I have NEVER seen a wait on the WED way, but on this trip -- there was a line every time we passed it. 2. I feel guests are confused by this new system, so it felt like many guests were just kinda "hanging out" waiting till they could get another Fast Pass selection. This seemed to cause "bottlenecks" of traffic flow near those areas in the parks. 3. Not being able to select your additional FP selections (after you have used your 1st 3) via phone was tedious. You had to BE in the park you wanted to select 1 additional FP for, then use the kiosk area with a CM assistance to make that additional selection. I would like to be able to do this via my phone remotely, on my own. 4. You cannot make any additional selections UNTIL you have used your 1st 3 advance selections. SOOO... if you used 1 of your 3 advance FP selections say for a late evening timeslot, you would basically not be able to have any additional FP available for you. As you would need to wait for that timeslot to expire before being able to hit the kiosk for anything else. 4. I *liked* not having to dash to some hot attractions in the AM (ie. TSMM). So this was a plus. 5. Being a park hopper, this new system was a bit "trickier" to work. I had to decide if I wanted to use my initial selections at park #1 in the AM or park #2 in the PM. 6. It was fairly easy to modify any existing FP selections from my phone. So I did like that flexibility. 7. Because you are "limited" on some of the hotter attractions, you have to make choices on your initial 3 selections -- ie. Test Track vs. Soarin.' I was not a big fan of that factor.
I think there are some things that could be improved upon with this system. I also know it is still early on & already somethings have changed. So I am eager to see how this system morphs over the next several months/year. So in it's current state, I would say I liked the old system better. But I am hopeful that it will evolve into a better system in the end.
