What does everyone think of the new reserved ride times that are rumored to be in the cards for WDW resort guests?

I have to say, I am not a fan of this concept so far. I think that part of the fun of a trip is spontaneity. And this will definitely take away from that.

HATE IT!

I can't even make up my mind where to stay and where to eat, now they want me to plan attractions and shows 180 days in advance? There goes any plans for a spontaneous trip....ever!

All the nuts from the DISBoards will be booking up the FPs, trading them, selling them, hogging them up.... then it will really get to be fun over there on the boards, b/c then they will start debating it, fighting over it- people will get banned. User Image

Hey Jeff! Good to see you again!

I have to say I am so not a fan of this. It borders on being elitist, which just being able to stay at a Disney resort already can allow that perception to waft through the air. I fully admit I am a Disney Resort snob, but I am also very aware there are some folks who just cannot work those cards out and really have to budget their vacations. Now those folks who stay offiste will be at an even bigger disadvantage. undecided

I agree - I think it is going to spell C-H-A-O-S in the parks. Let's hope I am wrong! embarassed

Not a fan! I would like for additional FP machines to be in a centralized location in the parks, though, where I could choose multiple attractions at once, in my preferred order, with a 1-3 hour interval between attractions depending on crowds and demand. Or some sort of mobile app to get them virtually without having to criss-cross the park.

On our trip last year.....we didn't even need Fastpasses.....I think the longest we waited in line was 45 min....and I didn't think that was bad.

I dislike this idea very much!

Also would not be a fan of this idea. But I do love the thoughts on the centralized FP machines. Very good idea on that one!

Lot of rumors on other Disney boards that CM's are going to start enforcing the time window on the FP tickets.
