We have gone out of our way for the Candlelight Processional - we booked a one night stay at the BC after our first cruise just so we'd have a chance to see it. One of my favorite things in all of Disney World! grin

I did an overnight by myself in 2006 so I could see the Candlelight Processional (and Wonders of Life one last time before it closed)...literally, got off the plane, picked up the rental car, made a beeline to Epcot, got in line for the 5pm CP, and enjoyed every minute of it with Rita Moreno as narrator. Absolutely worth it!

CP - it's the best holiday event at Disney.

Well, I want to do them all (and we're already looking at 4th of July at Disney next year, and possibly New Years Eve this year), but if I had to choose it would most definitely be Candlelight Processional!

I did the fourth of July in 74 shocked scariest moment I have ever expereinced at WDW....the crowds where impassable...of course that was way back in the olden days- when there was only one park grin

I love candle light processional- back in 93 we were in Mk knew nothing about it- and they walked from the back of the park- down the parade route- to the front-
James Earl Jones was the narrator- we worked our way toward the front of the park and could hear him speaking from a geat distance....what a wonderful voice...Wish we had known about itbefore instead of during - we would have made an effort to see it.

Havent done any of the special "parties"- and Sil and BIL do New Years Eve every year..

Ah...but I loved seeing the castle being lit this year..pretty special grin
